Ampersands, ampersands and more ampersands
Ligature, Loop and Stem, “Creators and curators of fine typography-related products” was set up in 2009 by Scott Boms and Luke Dorny to celebrating type, and create designs that delight other designers.
They have produced a number of limited edition, typographic prints (mostly sold out), including these badges (buttons) shown above.
Each ampersand has been selective for its distinct personality. The featured typefaces are; Priori Serif, Perla, Cooper Black, Los Niches, Schmutz, Mostra, United, Fette Fraktur, Tribute & Shag.
The 36 ampersands shown below is printed on matt balck stock in metallic silver and glossy transparent inks, and bear a hand pressed LL&S wax seal.
